Airbus has started final assembly of the first A321neo with Airbus Cabin Flex and a higher take-off weight.

This variant of the A321neo has a 97,000kg (213,848lb) maximum take-off weight capability and an option for additional third underfloor fuel tank to extend range.

The A321neo ACF is set to become the default build standard for all A321neos from 2020. Following final assembly, the aircraft will make its first flight in the coming months, with first delivery expected for Q2 2018.
