Boeing delivered 763 commercial aircraft in 2017. The company also secured 912 net orders which it said indicated “healthy demand” despite a slowdown in aircraft orders overall in recent years.

Increased production rates on the 737, with 47 of these aircraft turned out every month, ensured a record figure of 529 deliveries for the type in 2017, including 74 of the 737 MAX. Boeing recorded 745 net orders for the family last year.

The 787 Dreamliner family had 136 deliveries and 94 net orders and there were 74 deliveries and 60 orders for the 777. Boeing sold 15 767s and delivered ten.

The 747 had a figure of minus two overall, with cancellations offsetting gross orders. Ten 747s were delivered last year.

The 912 net orders, valued at $134.8 billion at list prices, extended Boeing’s backlog to 5,864 aircraft at the end of 2017, equal to about seven years of production.
