Aviator extends ground handling agreement with FedEx

Both companies have been in a successful partnership for more than 20 years, providing services at hubs such as Malmo and Arlanda 

Aviator Airport Services, a provider of aviation amenities for 15 hubs across the Nordics, has extended its ground handling agreement with FedEx. 

The delivery firm is the world’s largest cargo airline, with over 600 aircraft. It has been providing operations globally for more than 50 years, with both companies being in a successful partnership for over two decades.

“We feel extremely proud to be able to continue calling FedEx, one of the largest players in the delivery services market, partners,” said Jo Alex Tanem, CEO of Aviator Airport Services. “We have been in a close cooperation for over 20 years and have always seen eye-to-eye about service quality. We are excited to continue our cooperation and delighted to see that with each extended contract the relationship is growing stronger and more successful.” 

Renewed for a further three-year period, the contract is expected to take effect on September 1.  

Aviator is set to provide FedEx with ground handling services which includes de-icing at Malmo Airport in Sweden. The two companies also have an on-going cooperation contract at Stockholm Arlanda.
