The airline will initiate the route in 2022 to coincide with the Easter and May bank holidays
London-based Air Charter Service has announced that it will provide flights from Bristol to Dubai/Al Maktoum with onward service to Mahe in the Seychelles in conjunction with Air Seychelles and Bristol Airport.
The route will be operated by one of the Indian Ocean airlines’ fleet of Airbus A320neo aircraft and, according to the charter group, will provide a three-class cabin including Premium Club, Economy Space which includes a blocked middle seat and standard Economy.
Shaun Browne, head of airline relations at the airport, said: ‘’This is a truly exciting project for Bristol Airport, opening up our region to new destinations is one of our primary goals. We are thrilled Air Seychelles will be offering direct flights from Bristol Airport to Dubai and the Seychelles for the first time and thank Air Charter Service for taking the initiative to offer these exciting destinations from the southwest.”
Caroline Wood, Air Charter Service’s group travel services director, commented on the partnership: “With British travellers desperate to get away and experience something a little different, this flying programme offers just that. These exciting trips are the first flights to the Middle East and Indian Ocean from Bristol and open up a new opportunity for a convenient regional departure.”
Wood added: “The [new connection] is the first of many exciting and unique seat-only offerings aimed at specific markets and experiential travel which Air Charter Service will be selling and promoting via our travel trade partners. We’d be delighted to discuss the opportunity to partner with both travel agents and tour operators to sell our products.”
