The service allows passengers to book PCR tests and helps them meet the requirements needed to enter Singapore
Changi Airport Group (CAG) has launched its new ‘Safe Travel Concierge’ (STC) app which it hopes will make it easier for passengers to plan trips to Singapore during COVID-19.
The new service allows customers to book a PCR test upon arrival and also identifies whether all the necessary travel requirements have been met to enter the country. All the documents needed for travel can be accessed through the STC.
Once customers add their upcoming trips to the portal, they will be shown a list of customised travel requirements that need to be completed before entering Singapore.
Jayson Goh, CAG’s managing director for airport operations management, said: “As we prepare for the reopening of international borders, Changi Airport continues to innovate and leverage technology to ensure a safe and pleasant traveller experience for our passengers.
“With the support of the Singapore Tourism Board, we first trialled the STC prototype at TravelRevive, the first hybrid tradeshow in Singapore. We are glad to launch it today for all passengers and encourage them to use it for a smoother experience at Changi Airport.”
Services such as immigration and the electronic arrival card and health declaration can also be accessed through the new system.
