There’s no denying airports have their work cut out for them. The COVID-19 pandemic is dragging on, while public – and regulatory – attention has once more focused on climate change and the netzero emissions drive. Airport operators also need to recoup two years’ worth of revenue and, while finding themselves short-staffed, are struggling to meet the resurgence in passenger demand. It’s a perfect storm.
