Final debrief December 14,2010


FRONT ROW: Wg Cdr Dave Haines (1(F) Sqn OC) was at Monarch Airlines, then Virgin Atlantic, now back with the RAF. Cdr Dave ‘Tinsel’ Lindsay (NSW CO) left the military and now works as BD lead for MASS; Wg Cdr Si Jessett (IV(R) Sqn OC) departed the military after leaving 736 NAS flying Hawks, to join Cobham Aviation, Bournemouth and is now back in the RAF as reserve Sqn Ldr on 3(F) Sqn RAF Coningsby; Wg Cdr Dave Bradshaw, (OC Ops Wittering) is now Air Cdre in Air Capability; Flt Lt Will Collins (1(F) Sqn) RAF Valley, Typhoon, then Hawk T2 instructor; Sqn Ldr Steve Kenworthy went to PJHQ and converted to Typhoon, Flt Cdr on 3(F) Sqn at Coningsby, now OC 3(F) Sqn at Coningsby; Flt Lt Martin Pert (1(F) Sqn) became a Sqn Ldr Typhoons with II(AC) Sqn after Red Arrows (then back to Red Arrows) and is now on a staff course

SECOND ROW: Gp Capt Gary Waterfall (JFH Cdr) led the final 16-ship flypast when the Harriers retired from service – Air Vice Marshal, AOC 1 Group. Also Chief of Staff (Ops) in PJHQ he retired on Dec 31, 2019 and now runs his own business advising defence-facing companies; Lt Cdr James ‘Blackers’ Blackmore (1(F) Sqn) had a three-year US Navy exchange on Super Hornets Royal Navy Fixed Wing at RNAS Culdrose and is now a Captain and Air Commander on HMS Queen Elizabeth; Lt Paul Laugharne went to 100 Sqn as a Flt Cdr, then Typhoon Force HQ before leaving the RAF in 2015 for Monarch and is now FTRS at Barkston Heath flying Grob 120TP Prefect; Sqn Ldr Chris Rogers (NSW) joined the RAAF and is flying Hawks at RAAF Williamstown; Flt Lt Andy Edgell (NSW) was an F-35B test pilot at Patuxtent River and left the military to be an instructor at the National Test Pilot School in Mojave; Sqn Ldr Andy Chisholm (IV(R) Sqn) flew F-35 JSF at Washington, then OC 29(F) Sqn, Typhoon OCU until 2020; Flt Lt Darren ‘Kupsy’ Kupps (IV(R) Sqn) was Sqn Ldr in Typhoon Headquarters then went to 617 Sqn flying F-35Bs and has now left service to work for Inzpire; Major (Marines) Rob Fenwick (NSW) left the military to join Cobham Aviation
