Customers will be able to access information including the latest international entry requirements
London City Airport has launched its new travel portal which has been designed to help passengers with their flight plans in preparation for summer.
The platform provides a detailed synopsis of the requirements needed for entering individual countries. It also includes links to the latest tourist board information, Covid-19 rates and mask regulations.
In addition, travellers are able to book flights and coronavirus tests using the service.
“For the time being, there is a lot more for passengers to consider when making their travel choices,” said Neil Dillon, marketing director, London City Airport. “We hope our new travel portal will help demystify the experience as well as inspire them to discover some of our amazing UK and European destinations this summer.
With the COVID-19 vaccination programme ramping up across Europe, the portal will be regularly updated to capture the easing of restrictions across all our key markets and will help passengers shape their summer 2021 travel itineraries.”
As well as the announcement of the portal, the airport’s home-based carrier, British Airways, has recently revealed new twice weekly flights to Jersey and Gibraltar. The routes offer a variety of holiday destinations across the Mediterranean, including Ibiza, Palma, Faro, Malaga, Nice, Santorini and Mykonos.
San Sebastian and Split will also be added to the summer schedule, which were originally meant to commence last year.
For those not wanting to travel abroad, services to Belfast City, Edinburgh and Glasgow will be available with BA, with Loganair offering the quickest connection from Dundee to London.
